The Raven Boys

If there is anything that I say about it, it will be that this was disappointing.

I wasn’t absorbed into Blue’s story, not at all. Most of the time I was wondering what was going on, and what was the point of all these scenes in the first place.

I didn’t seem to grasp why it was placed in there other than to get me to know the characters, but it does not push the plot forward. It doesn’t include some conflict which will make it interesting.

Other than the fact she will fall in love. Which again doesn’t really happen, as there was almost no attraction between her and any of the characters at all.

So, with the only hinted conflict nowhere in sight. Characters are so random that I barely even know what are they doing there. And most importantly, what on earth is going with Blue?

Even up until halfway, I feel that there was no noticeable progression. And this is why it just disappointed me.
