Honor Among Thieves

I was really bored by the story at the middle. And that the main character felt plain and didn’t even stand out at the least.

Zara did not work as a main character, she didn’t make me care for her and she felt like many of the main characters in YA. Having the same sense of Justice and at the same time with nothing that made her different or even a character voice.

And the world was even more confusing than immersive. Instead of the Leviathan crew being a mystery as well as the focal point of the story, it just fell flat since nothing happened regarding it. Even when I know Zara will be picked up by the ship.

Overall this just took too long to even begin the actual story. And if you asked me, the beginning chapters could have been flashbacks with them mostly just starting in the ship. But it didn’t, and never found anything to really create tension.
