Tarnished City

Well, suddenly the book lost what made it good. The story was heading nowhere for most part, and really really convoluted by this point.

It was reading a confusing mess with no idea where it was going for most part. And all the characters were all plain and not really all that outstanding. For most part, the book lost what made the first so good and suffered the middle book syndrome.

The plot didn’t even explore the world, the divide between Equals and the Unskilled. The politics behind it all goes to nothing, as it switch between too many characters. None of it really caught my attention anymore.

And really, it just didn’t seem to work anymore. The world wasn’t really thought out or even expanded here. Just too much drama and even little on making characters seem interesting.

Overall, I was disappointed.
