Well this will have been nice if it had not been focused so much on just talking about myths with no idea just what it was trying to do. And there was very very little court intrigue from what I could see.
The story didn’t have anything happen that was of any consequence. It begins with the narrator being out of prison and nothing as to what happens after.
They travel a lot, but do nothing of any real consequence that contribute to the story. And the fables were the worst of the lot as it just felt so out of place in this place.
If anything the world did keep my interest given that this was the third book. But the writing here just didn’t catch my interest. It was incredibly hard for me to read and understand where is it at.
