The Watchmaker of Filigree Street

I was bored with the story. It just didn’t help me and the more I tried. The more it just didn’t seem to have anything that fitted.

Even as it touched a little on Japan, although I’m particularly baffled about how it comes together. And the writing for most part was bland and unmemorable.

And perhaps why I didn’t really like the story at the end of the day. It just didn’t manage to grab me, and it didn’t narrate anything in a particularly entertaining way.

And even as I tried to focus on the characters, the only thing I got was some watchmaker hired someone. And a bunch of characters with a completely unknown relation to each other. That was mostly it.

It just never managed to really surprise me within the first hundred pages, and I just couldn’t focus. It simply wasn’t for me, given that the writing really failed to attract me.
