Templar Silks

I just didn’t really got drawn into the story. Which is the main issue when it comes to Elizabeth Chadwick.

Her works are all on point when it comes to historical fact, but it just doesn’t have any compelling story or really knows how to draw a reader in.

And reading it can be somewhat exciting, and mostly removed. Where I was just staring at it from the outside, and not feeling what the story was about.

If anything, she should have simply converted to writing nonfiction history. It would still be more fascinating than this book where it had almost no idea what story it was trying to tell. And thus become just the details of everything with no clear goal.
